What is considered “drunk driving” in New Mexico?
New Mexico has laws regarding driving while intoxicated (DWI) or driving under the influence (DUI). The legal limit for blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level is .08%. However, BAC only needs to be .02% for a person under the age of 21, or .04% for a commercial vehicle driver.
